Teaching – When A Student Cheats

Let’s start with the bold statement that the purpose of life is to enjoy a journey of growth and self discovery. By better understanding ourselves, we better understand others and begin to create communities that are happier and more tolerant.

That’s easy. The next time you go to a funeral check out the person in the casket. That person has experienced too much DEATH. Every process within that person has come to an end. They are completely and utterly separated mentally and physically from this Earthly realm. But if that person had a relationship with Jesus Christ, they are not separated from their maker spiritually. (Romans 5:17).

The best thing to do is to go for a combined approach. This could include self study, formal instruction as well as using the language communicatively.

In the English language the translation that I recommend is the so-called King James or Authorized version. I am a Catholic and yet I recommend this translation for personal study of the Bible. I know some of the words there are foreign to a present day reader. They are called archaic words which belong to the English language in the 16th century but are no longer used now. But there are copies of this version where at the back of the Bible there is a Bible word list where these words are given equivalents in our time. Get a copy of such a King James version Bible. Many groups of Christians are giving out this copy free. Avail of one.

Ask students to give you their first name when they ask or answer a question. This not only helps you learn names but also helps students learn the names of others in the class. It’s a sad fact that in secondary classes students often never learn the names of everyone else in the class.

Many people start out by getting simple policy quotes. And like most products, people tend to choose the cheapest product. And when it comes to life policy, term life is a lot cheaper than whole life insurance. However, term life policy provides a lot less benefit than whole life insurance. Instead of just finding the cheapest results from a search for quotes, understanding the difference can be helpful.

Teachers can help you as well. Extra Credit is often offered in order to help a you. If they offer a study guide for tests ask for a copy. This will benefit you on your test taking skills as well as aid you on how to become a straight A student.

Others just like to be comfortable. They may find it easier to study at the library, at the park, or while sitting on the couch. Begin to imagine the exams are simply a step to be climbed as you walk determinedly toward finding answers to your own questions and study will become personally relevant.
